Deadpool & Wolverine hit cinemas and Fortnite back in July, but the viral *NSYNC ‘Bye Bye Bye’ dance featured in the movie has just come to the game as a new emote, out today (September 24).
The emote was shown off by the official Fortnite X/Twitter account. A video was shared where the in-game Deadpool costume dances along to the ‘Bye Bye Bye’ song that went viral after Deadpool danced to it in the new movie. The dancer who’s actually in the costume also shared a story about the audition process for appearing in the film.
“I need you to learn the ‘Bye Bye Bye’ dance right now and send me a video. I can’t tell you what it’s for but it’s huge,” Nick Pauley says his agent said to him back in February. It was huge, as the song re-entered the Top 20 thanks to its appearance in the superhero flick (via Official Charts).

Ryan Reynolds recently shared the sad news that he had to cut a cameo from his friend and It’s Always Sunny In Philadephia writer, creator, and star, Rob McElhenney: “While editing a movie, they say you ‘sometimes have to kill your darlings.’ And with a heavy heart (and through great outside intervention) I had to kill a darling with this cameo…”
In other news, Chappell Roan recently responded to a fan taking pictures of her with a Nintendo DS at a concert: “Bitch is that a DS? You keep taking photos on your DS, you keep doing it.”
